The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline including angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in power within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of heroes who will separate from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could help the team enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Explorers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
